Shai Erez is a partner in our firm, specializing in managing complex litigation cases and international disputes across various legal fields, particularly corporate matters, shareholder disputes, commercial conflicts, class actions, derivative lawsuits, tenders, and administrative proceedings.
Shai has extensive experience representing Israeli and foreign clients in complex business disputes before all judicial tribunals, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. He represents corporations, directors, and officers in claims regarding breaches of their fiduciary duties and duties of care. Shai handles large-scale class actions and represents individuals, corporations, and public entities in various legal proceedings.
Before joining Friedman Younger & Co., Shai was a partner at one of Israel’s largest and leading law firms. His work there included defending public companies in large-scale class actions, representing public and dual-listed companies and their officers in derivative lawsuits, and representing a regulatory authority before the Supreme Court in a landmark class action proceeding. Additionally, Shai’s experience includes defending a leading pesticide manufacturer in a mass tort environmental damage claim and providing environmental consulting.
